Ideas for tomorrow

Important thoughts we should not forget after the lockdown.

About
The pandemic and the quarantine gave us the opportunity to rethink vital things we gave for granted. They also revealed important aspects of our daily life that remained unnoticed.
What have we learned while isolated, constrained, worried? Have we understood the warnings we have been given? What should we change tomorrow once we are all back out there?
Let’s share an idea, a wish, a commitment so that we can all remember it once this is over. Write something down and we will remind you of it one year from now.

Design for a better world.

We are part of the nature, and there is no global problem to adress without planetary conscience. States are not the pertinent scale future of global solutions.

We can really conceive, share, rebuild, adapt, and put on the field millions of objects (like Personal Protection Equipments) with internet, makers, fablabs, factories, and local actors, in real time and real life, sharing solutions in the commons.

Confined life has taught us that we can quickly adjust to the unconventional. Life redefines what “normal” means as we go. Once we’re all done with this we should keep asking : are all normal things right?

I love the solace many people find in these difficult times. What comes next is up to us to create. Maybe we will feel like people in India who can see the Himalayas from their windows for the first time in 30 years because the skies are clear.
What do we see now that we couldn’t see before? What matters now that we need to foster and nourish?

Remember when you were happy because you had free time? Because you were taking life more slowly and you were waiting for the right opportunity? But then you got scared and kept trying to be a part of something larger than you because you took your self confidence entirely externally? And maybe you’re learning the lesson the hard way now? Don’t worry, you’ll figure it out. Everything is going to be just fine. Tell that little kid that you’re good as-is. There are places for you, too.

Hi! We shouldn’t waste money in wars and instead do more peaceful things. The money that is wasted in wars in the world is proven that could end poverty and probably provide us all a Basic Income so that we can do more things we enjoy and also help others! This crisis has shown us that if we help each other we are more strong! Thank you!
